Stuyvesant HS, NY, is a semi-finalist in the Intel competition. Elizabeth's summer project was entitled "Synthesis of a slow, tight binding inhibitor of InhA from Mycobacterium tuberculosis".

Dr. Peter Tonge will Chair the 2006 Bioorganic Chemistry Gordon Research Conference from July 30 - August 4, 2006 at Magdalen College at Oxford, UK. This is the first Bioorganic Chemistry Gordon Research Conference to be held outside the United States.

Chris Stratton, an undergrduate who has been in our lab for two years, has been accepted into Cornell/Rockefeller/Sloan-Kettering tri-instituitional program in Chemical Biology. He will be starting his lab rotations this summer.
Patty Cheung who is another undergraduate in our laboratory has been accepted into the Pharmacology graduate program at Weill Cornell.
