ALL STUDENTS
One ArtPHIL Certificate Program Joint Seminar. Students will be able to enroll in the Joint Seminar in either Art or Philosophy. The Joint Seminar is typically co-taught by a member of the Program Faculty in Philosophy and in Art. |
PHILOSOPHY GRADUATE STUDENTS:
Three graduate seminars in Art
These courses may be in Art Theory, Criticism, Methodology, or History. |
ALL STUDENTS The remaining three credits may be obtained in either department but selected from the following list of approved seminars or from courses taught by Certificate Program Faculty: PHI 610: Philosophy and the Arts PHI 637:
Epistemology (with appropriate content) PHI 641: Aesthetics PHI 643:
Semiotics An acceptable
substitute PHI seminar, such as a relevant PHI 619 Topics Seminar, or CLT 601:
Seminar in Literary Theory, CLT 602: Interdisciplinary Seminar,
CLT 603 or a similar CLT
